Brian Albrecht
Brian Albrecht, MIS, CISSP, is a Knowledge Engineer at LogRhythm. Mr. Albrecht is responsible for building device support packages that are shipped as part of LogRhythm’s enterprise class log management and SIEM 2.0 solutions. He has over 10 years of experience in the field of information technology and network security. His prior roles include Senior LAN Analyst with JP Morgan Retirement Plan Services and Senior Network Administrator at American Century Investments.
Chris Petersen
Chris Petersen is CTO/CoFounder of LogRhythm. He has provided information assurance services to Fortune 500 clients as a senior IT consultant for two of the world’s leading professional services firms -- PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young. Petersen was also among the first 20 employees at managed security services pioneer Counterpane Internet Security. As a faculty member with the Institute for Applied Network Security (IANS), he was a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Petersen holds a degree in accounting/information systems from Colorado State University.
Mike Reagan
As Chief Marketing Officer at LogRhythm, Mike Reagan has over 24 years of experience in information security, network management and storage. He has been a featured presenter on leading information security topics such as incidence response, data leak prevention, insider threat detection, and critical infrastructure protection for ISSA, ISACA and InfraGard.
Trent Heisler
Trent Heisler has over 13 years experience designing, implementing, managing and securing IT networks. In his role as Director of Systems Engineering for LogRhythm, Trent has designed log management/SIEM 2.0 solutions for leading organizations in a variety of industries and government sectors. Trent is a frequent speaker at a variety of industry specific venues including AFCOM, ISSA, SANS Institute and Ultimate Windows Security events.
Caleb Wright
Caleb Wright has over 12 years experience designing, implementing, managing and securing IT networks. In his role as a Systems Engineer at LogRhythm, Caleb designs enterprise-level log management/SIEM 2.0 deployments, and is a subject matter expert on implementation, training, and configuration and tuning for LogRhythm solutions.

Jojo Brotamonte
JoJo has 18 years of experience as a systems engineer, IT security administrator, and UNIX administrator. His background includes architecture design for enterprise SAN, log management and SIEM solutions.
Eric Knight
While employed at LogRhythm, Eric Knight was responsible for building tailored compliance intelligence packages for regulations such as NERC CIP, SOX and PCI that are shipped as part of LogRhythm’s enterprise class log management and SIEM 2.0 solutions. He was responsible for the strategic integration of network & security products to enable LogRhythm to collect, analyze, alert and report on log data. Mr. Knight has over fifteen years of experience in the field of network security with an emphasis in vulnerability management and enterprise security architectures. During his career, he has performed security assessments and services for a wide range of industries including energy, military, financial, industrial, education, government, health, insurance, mass media and non-profit. Mr. Knight currently works as a Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems.
Ross Brewer
In the capacity of VP and Director of International Markets, Ross brings over 22 years of management experience in high tech and information security to LogRhythm. Ross’ previous experience includes senior executive positions with several information security and technology companies, including as a Vice President and Managing Director of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Prior to that, he was also responsible for launching Symantec’s New Zealand Operations.
David Cheng
David has over 18 years of experience in the information security and software infrastructure industries. Having spearheaded the operational expansion of numerous vendors in the Asia Pacific region, David offers a unique vision into the regional business requirements for information security solutions. Martin Landless has over 11 years experience designing, implementing, managing and securing IT networks. He is certified in numerous IT/IS industry standards, including CISSP, CISM, and ISO27001(BS7799). In his role as a Technical Director, EMEA at LogRhythm, Martin designs enterprise-level log management/SIEM 2.0 deployments, and is a subject matter expert on implementation, training, and configuration and tuning for LogRhythm solutions.

Kevin Broughton has over 10 years of experience in information security, SaaS and managed services. He has had many roles in Sales, Marketing and Business Development and currently works on content development, competitive analysis and market research. And he spends a lot of time paraphrasing developers and engineers who really do have something important to say.
Malcolm Skinner
Malcolm Skinner is a technology industry communications professional with 20 years’ experience in the field. He has amassed a wealth of marketing and PR experience in the IT security sector in which he has operated for the past 15 years. His background includes the role of director of international marketing at security specialist Cybertrust and has also operated as international marketing director at French web application security vendor Bee Ware. And, he loves football (the real kind).
Janne Nyman
Janne Nyman is responsible for Professional Services, Support and Training at LogRhythm EMEA. Janne has 5 years IT security and 3 years SIEM experience working with Vendors such as McAfee and RSA in support, Pre-sales and Post-sales.
Zachary Wolff
Zachary Wolff is a Professional Services Engineer with LogRhythm and has over 6 years experience designing, implementing, managing and securing IT networks. When he’s not playing with low power FM radio or working on his vinyl collection, Zak spends his days implementing enterprise-level log management/SIEM 2.0 deployments, including installation, training, configuration, and tuning of LogRhythm solutions. He is a subject matter expert on forensic investigation, intrusion detection and malware classification, removal and remediation.
Nick Palmer
Nick Palmer has been in and around the IT industry for nearly twenty years, and has worked with many of the largest and most influential players. From IBM to Microsoft, and from Compuware to a number of small start-ups, he has worked in Service Management, Security, Cloud Computing (under several different labels!), Identity, Unified Communications and Collaboration. Nick thinks his greatest asset is the ability to crystallise complex technical concepts into laymen\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s terms, others think it is his enduring self-belief. Either way, he is also a family man with a young son, a part-time musician with a collection of guitars and a much beloved partner who never actually tells him that he can only play one at once.
Dave Pack
Dave Pack, CISSP, is the Director of LogRhythm Labs. Dave has over a decade of experience in enterprise-level systems engineering, information security, R&D work on advanced data analysis and visualization systems, and has served as a Security Analyst/Shift Lead for the Citizenship and Immigration Services Security Operations Center (CIS SOC). The Knowledge Engineering team Dave currently manages is responsible for the development of advanced correlation rules for LogRhythm’s Advanced Intelligence Engine, MPE parsing rules, and LogRhythm’s compliance packages supporting PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, and more.
Jacob Baldwin
Jake is a Knowledge Engineer who holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has several years experience in information technology and security. While in school, Jake worked on a research team working to make interfacing solar panels to the electrical grid more efficient. This work included power electronic design, custom PCB design, custom transformer design, and embedded electronic design and programming. Towards the end of his tenure at CU his team successfully designed a system to interface solar panels to the electrical grid with greater than 90% efficiency. In his free time he can be found outdoors: playing ultimate frisbee, skiing, running, hiking, biking, etc.
Craig Monroy
Craig Monroy is a Senior Consultant in both Professional Services and Knowledge Engineering teams. Craig has been involved in the information security and audit field for over 15 years and has consulted for both private and public sectors. Professional Services is responsible for deploying LogRhythm solutions and Knowledge Engineering is responsible for the development of AI Engine correlation rules, MPE parsing rules, and compliance reporting and alerting components.
Seth Goldhammer
Seth Goldhammer is the Director of Product Management at LogRhythm. He has over 15 years of experience working in the network management and security industry including starting Roving Planet where he helped design and build go-to-market strategies for the industry’s first network access control products. Seth has served in product management roles at TippingPoint, 3Com, and HP Networking, and is responsible for collecting market requirements and speaking at customer events for LogRhythm.
Mark Vankempen
Mark Vankempen has over 5 years of experience in information technology and security, has a B.A. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and is a LogRhythm Knowledge Engineer. He is also one of the patent holders for an electronic climbing wall, part of an entrepreneurial group that designed its own printed circuit board and microprocessor code as a part of the design process. The wall uses an electronic lighting, sensing and control system to record climbing activities and dynamically create new routes. Mark is clearly an engineer from Boulder.
Andy Grolnick
Andy Grolnick brings over 25 years of experience growing high tech businesses, with executive leadership roles in Marketing, Product Development, Sales and General Management. His accomplishments include growing the Zip division of Iomega into a $1 billion entity in less than two years as its General Manager. Prior to LogRhythm, Grolnick was VP of Marketing and Sales at OpenLogic, where he was a member of the founding management team, and has held leadership roles at Quantum, Rivio and OnStream. He has a degree in Computer Science from Duke University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.
Richard Patrick
Richard Patrick is a Network Security Research Analyst at LogRhythm. As a member of LogRhythm Labs, Mr. Patrick is responsible for creating and updating AI Engine correlation rules and MPE parsing rules. He is also a graduate student at the University of Denver, working toward an MAS in Information Systems Security. Before joining LogRhythm, he worked as a Systems Administrator in the Legal, Financial and Non-Profit fields. In his off time, he plays the Bass Trombone with the Boulder Symphony and other area music groups.
Isaac Thompson
Isaac Thompson has worked in the IT field since the early 90′s and has over 11 years of experience as a System Administrator. Since 2004 he has been working with log and event management, helping other Admins figure out exactly what all these logs mean. From 2004 to Jan of 2011, Isaac worked for Prism Microsystems/EventTracker. After leaving Prism in Jan of 2011, he joined the team at LogRhythm. Virginia is a Network Security Research Analyst with LogRhythm maintaining and developing device support rules and constantly researching logs from an array of devices. Virginia holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. When Virginia isn’t searching logs she can be found playing the Oboe or volunteering in her community.
Josh Walderbach
Joshua Walderbach, CISSP, is a Senior Network Security & Compliance Analyst for LogRhythm Labs and is responsible for developing and maintaining LogRhythm’s compliance (FISMA, HIPAA, NERC-CIP, PCI-DSS, etc.) modules. He has over a decade of experience in network security, compliance, and information technology management, including senior roles at Principal Financial Group and RSM McGladrey. Joshua holds a Master of Engineering degree with honors in Information Assurance & a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University. He is also a member of GoldenKey International Honour Society, ISACA (Information Systems Audit & Control Association), IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors), and InfraGard.
